Saw a lone Protector at TRU the other day. I couldn't believe it at first, I thought it was some kind of optical illusion.

That figure was in huge demand here for a while. Specialty stores were charging more for him than anyone else, (with the exception of Thor). Now I see him everywhere. Same with Thor.

Ive seen him once in the store/ Thunderball once as well -- thats it --

Right now my Targets are full of Bucky Caps, Thors and even Hope and Ghost Rider..

I was able to pick up Hyperion, She-Rulk, Ult Cap and Protector (whom I know nothing about) yesterday at Joelanta (a local convention for GI Joe collectors; Kind of a big deal in Atlanta). I haven't opened Protector yet, but the first the 3 are epic homeruns. No complaints at all. Hyperion, She-Rulk and Thor (from wave one), are easily my favorite figures since Hasbro rebooted Legends. And to boot, I knew the dealer, so I got them at cost.

Was kind of surprised to see a crapload of Hyperions at my local shop the other day as I thought he was the hot figure from this wave. The two which went the fastest were Archangel, (of course), and Cap.

Agree on Thor. Easily my favourite figure in the new ML. I've bought three of them, (what I'm going to do with them I have no idea - I just can't help myself, lol).

It's neat that Amazon keeps putting these up for non-gougey prices. I just wish they'd do it quicker.

Got Hyperion, Protector, and Red She-hulk off Amazon.

The sculpts and paint apps were pretty good, but Hasbro's starting to use inferior plastic again. Hyperion should be as massive as Thor was, but the flimsy plastic makes him lighter.

In any case, I am done with this wave unless I see an archangel at retail, or until the variants show up.

But considering I haven't seen Dani Moonstar or Blade yet, I'm not gonna hold my breath. :|

I saw Dani Moonstar on ebay a while back. As in a week or so, she was in a case assortment.

Finally saw Hyperion, She Rulk, Protector and Cap today at TRU. They rang up as $34.99 each at the register (the code listed them as coming with a DVD). Customer service could not confirm the price I told them, the only peg they had was for the Iron Man Legends, which they would not accept as the price. So, I did not get them. I was prepared to pay TRU already inflated prices, but I could not pay $34.99!

Yea Human Head that has been happining alot. Most TRU are knocking the price down to 19.99 Some people even said that figures from the same wave 4 are the right prices and others are the 35 bucks

I saw Hyperion, X-Force Wolverine, Ultimate Cap and the Protector at a TRU last week. Didn't pick up any since I'm not collecting this line anymore.

Although I would like to pick up a regular Archangel since this one is superior to the old X-Men Classics one they released a few years back.

Just wondering.. is this line strictly for TRU and Wallmart? None to be distributed to Target?
