Yesterday on a whim I hit TRU-- found the last wave of superhero squad figures that had never made it to retail before (at 2 different stores) .. This wave was previously only on ebay (and I think a preorder at BBTS) at ridiculous prices-never even made it to Hasbro Toy Shop..

I always wondered about these. I was really into this line for a long time but it just petered out at the end and I lost interest - I'm sure most folks felt the same way.

I actually saw these at the TRU I work at. I had to pick up the Dark Silver Surfer/Cap and the Wolverine/Polaris packs for my son, honestly I think the Dark Silver Surfer is really cool looking. I passed on the others since he already has so many Iron Man and Thor figures from that line. I think our store only got one case of the figures since I only found a few packs and only one of them had the Dark Surfer in it.

I've been spotting these at Ross and TJ Maxx too.
