USA Today offers a detailed look at four of Hasbro's SDCC exclusives: My Little Pony, Jem, Marvel Legends and G.I. Joe/Transformers.

I kinda wish I collected Marvel Legends, because the Thunderbolts look very cool.

Now I am even more pissed at Hasbro--

Dont tell me a the Joe Con- that the collectors sets will fill a bunch of collector holes--

Repainted Transformers vehicles and main character repacks is not a single hole I was missing.. :x

And I was all excited that the thunderbolts set (until I saw it was legends instead of MU)-- I guess Ill still try to get it- I thought Moonstone was supposed to be an upcoming single..

Yeah I thought they were supposed to do some more Joes for SDCC too. Oh well I don't need any of the stuff they are selling for that. Although there was this box set I read about that' supposed to have Slice and Nunchuk on Amazon.com.

Stew I was with you with the T-Bolts set until I saw it was Legends.

Oh my goodness. That ML set is completely awesome. We've been desperately needing a modern Cage, and the rest of the set bulking up the bad guy side is always a good thing.

Is that the same Crossbones from the Ares wave? Guess I might as well sell mine, the--HOLY GOD, he goes for that much?!?

Somebody please tell me that you can get the Baroness/Ravage combo separately from the vehicles. That is an exclusive I would enjoy. :D
And the T-bolts, while not my favorite version of the team, are a must have. Moonstar and Ghost are high on my list of wants.
But it is a bit troubling that there doesn't appear to be a Marvel Universe exclusive. :?
Hopefully we just haven't seen it yet.

Getting tough not to look at recent Marvel Universe (lack of) news as the writing on the wall.

Same here. I'm not so much excited about having a Thunderbolts lineup as I am about having a classic Iron Man villain and a Master of Evil.

And I was gonna start bitching about how I wasn't going to be able to get the T-Bolts on HTS until I saw Stew's post! I still didn't pick up the Masters of Evil set yet because it goes for a bit more than I would like to pay. Some I'm glad there are no MU exclusives to hunt for this year.

Actually, there is nothing here that I want. That GI Joe is very pricey but the other GI/TF sets have sold out immediately so I don't even care. I'm glad there is nothing I want - missing out on Jinx last year was no fun. Missing out on Sgt. Slaughter sucked for a lot of us. I barely got Zarana. It's just a pain in the ass with these SDCC exclusives.

Come to think of it, didn't Hasbro show a Songbird prototype at Toyfair, or something?

No reason they can't still release it, but it would've seemed a natural fit for this set.

The Baroness/Ravage combo will NOT be availae separately.
The previous Joe/Transformers sets' figures weren't available separately, so I'm sure these wont be either. It's possible however that a retool/repaint of the Baroness could be made and sold separately, but otherwise this is your chance to get them.

Well there still is the rumored and protoypes on ebay seen set of Deadpool corps figures...(which reallly sounds like an SDCC exclusive kind of set.)

Fixed! Sorry. I'm more of a Mattel collector. That was as bad as mixing up DCUC and JLU!

There could be more reveals to come. IO9 revealed the Star Wars Angry Birds set last week.

Sorry, not at all interested. My youngest daughter, who collects My Little Pony, took one look at that and said "so what?" Besides, $50? Screw that noise. Funco has been putting out MLP vinyl figures for $14 that are every bit as good as the "exclusives". So let's see, we could have spent $150 in the secondary market to get one, or pick up the Funco version for $14. Guess which one we picked.

My wife loves Jem, but $150? No figure, anywhere, is worth that much. It seems like SDCC exclusives, which at one point were fun things to get while you were there, are now a means to rip off consumers.

Pass.

Awesome, best of both worlds. An MU exclusive shows the line's not dead, but at the same time something I won't feel sad about skipping.
