That's a bummer, Lango7. Hopefully the next one arrives safely. Think of it this way...you'll experience the joy of opening it twice!

I haven't seen Soundwave around here at all...never did before, either. :?

Now it looks like they are removing the shelf tag for Soundwave. I hit 2 TRU's over the weekend and both had pulled the shelf sticker for it's placement. :(

Sound wave is done, he sold through. In my area, scalpers lined up outside TRU on shipment mornings and cleaned him out.

Additionally, the masterpiece cars (Sideswipe, red alert, prowl, etc.) are not planned to come to the US due to licensing issues with the cars. Each has a hologram sticker for the respective car company (Lamborghini, Nissan, etc) and are not licensed for sale in the states.
I had long suspected this was the case, and a former hasbro employee confirmed this is in fact what's happening with the autobot cars.

That's a shame about the cars. I was hoping for a US release of a blue Bluestreak. I guess the MP line is not profitable enough to pay for the domestic licenses. On the bright side there should be no licensing issues with Ultra Magnus so hopefully he will hit the US next year.
As for SW he is a great figure. He looks great and so do the cassetts.

I just got Prowl last week, and he's one of the best ones ever made. Nearly perfect toy. I should have a review up soon.
Bluestreak will arrive in a week or 2, and also looks great. Looking forward to more after him. Can't wait for Ultra Magnus, who has no licensing issues, but I wonder how much TRU will charge, the Takara price is around $300.

UM will probably be 120 at first then spike to 140-150 depending where u live, just like SW.

Prime alone started at $100, then went to $120, so I expect Ultra Magnus will be considerably higher.

I remember seeing Prime at my TRU in MD for 149.99. SW wasn't a around long enough to reach 150 but I did see a 139.99 tag.

Im not sure if any of you were aware, or if this just isn't a hot topic on this forum anymore, but the Grimlock Reissue dropped at TRU this week and is showing up at 59.99. I think it is as far west as Illinois and Texas...definitely not in PA yet.
