A little lack luster. Nice to get cloak, Dagger, Black Knight, Grim Reaper, and White Queen however.

It's looking like the beginning of the end. I'm sure direct movie tie-ins will have a place on the shelves, but I wouldnt hold out for the more obscure characters or complete teams. When this line started I hoped they would do a Kirby like Fantastic Four pack, but I have no faith in that happening now.

I still haven't seen even a picture of a MU White Queen. Everything I find ends up being ML. :?

She is in the Astonishing X-men 3 pack. . . And she is in the picture on the front page next to that horrible looking Collosanaut.

How did you miss it?

That, is really bad news. Sigh... And you can't even circumvent that by pre-ordering the entire wave, because you'll still only get just one. :x

Yeah, I am not looking forward to trying to find an MU figure on toy shelves again.

Though at the very (VERY) least, Universe has so far had more luck actually getting the variants to retail than Legends. I guess stores are quicker to order refreshes when the toys aren't $20 a pop.

Making both Cloak/Dagger and Northstar/Aurora as variants is just terrible. I don't know why they want to make it so hard on us to spend money on figures we want. Crappy cases packs are one thing, but now they are really pushing it. I just don't get what the reasoning behind this could possibly be.

Case pack outs have been fine imo since most cases have 2 of each new figure. Variants are always going to be a little tougher, just the way it is and I am fine with that and those are two great ideas for variants if so.

I'm happy with Black Knight and White Queen this next year as those are high on my list. Most of the ones I really want have been done just kinda buying them now to complete the line.

Well if they continue to sneak in comic guys-- The Leader-- in these movie waves it will be acceptable-- (of course we know those will be shortpacked one to a case...)

Not where I live. I have seen Hercules and Nighthawk many times, they had several at TRU today, but only seen Puck twice and never for Angel and Nova. If they had packed them all 2 per case, things would be a lot better, IMO.

Agreed which is why I said most of the cases. I think ALL new waves should have 2 characters of each. The Nova, Puck, Angel packouts at 1 per case was a mistake imo but with 5 characters in the wave and no A list characters I guess they wanted to add some heavy hitters to the case. Adding 2 hulks and beast to that case was a bad idea imo.

Considering that Target is blowing them out for less than a single figure price, I would think it unlikely, not that it was a bad idea, just that it was badly executed.
