I figured it'd be pretty dead in here. I didn't figure that I'd be the first to post...

Have they even shown a single new item? Still don't understand why Transformers got three exclusives- and the combined Joe/Transformer exclusive is listed under GI Joe products..

I just watched the Pixel Dan interview with Darryl Depriest (sp?) over on YoJoe.com. Nothing new shown. There were only Retaliation figures from the wave 3.5 that we all knew about (and I already have pre-ordered) in the display case. Depriest was also very noncommittal/cryptic about the future of the line past this year. Although he did say the Kreo stuff will be continuing well into 2014.

Very disappointing so far.

I guess will just be left with overpriced Club figures from here on out-- I thought that the movies gave Transformers a resurgence-- not sure why Joe isn't getting the same bump...

That's just the thing. Depriest said that the movie did "very well", and the DVD/blu-ray release is slated for July 30th. They'll be rolling out lot's of stuff (that we've already seen) in conjunction with that release. Yet it's still not enough to get us any new stuff. Where's my Renegades Roadblock, Baroness and Coyote?

Sigh...

Cause the Joe movie did about a third the business of the lowest-grossing Transformers movie (at least according to Box Office Mojo).

The slowness is a disappointment, but we are getting a sequel, so Joe will continue to retain at least some presence at retail for a while.

I would love some of the hard to find at retail figures, too - Moneybags Destro, Lowlight. I hate how crap distribution plagues toylines these days.

Hasbro confirmed Renegades was done some time ago. Nothing else in that style is coming.

Yeah I know, CC. A man can dream though, can't he?
