When asked in the Q&A if there were any plans for a 3-3/4" Marvel Superheroes line Hasbro said that perhaps AFI should run a poll on the subject.

So, here it is. The Official AFI 3-3/4" Marvel Superheroes Poll.

It's a simple poll. Yes, no or depends. Please cast your votes!

If you vote Depends....post what your decision depends upon.

Jeff

I'm more interested in continuing the 6" line due to the amount of money and time and space I've invested in it. I ususally do not like getting into second or third lines of the same thing just at a different scale (no Icons and no show down) but would rather have something different at the other scales (ie mego figures 8-9" or animated 3-4"ala JLU). That being said, if ML went away, and I needed a Marvel fix to start again, I might consider a 3 3/4" line only if they provide some full teams on the front end (complete F4 and some core Avengers) AND provide a line of vehicles (Quinjet, Fantasticar, etc) AND provide army builders (Aim, Hydra, Hand ninjas, etc) AND offered larger scaled figures (like Sentinals, Galactus (for those who missed them), Fing Fang Foom, Goliath, Kree Sentry, etc. )
And mix it up with classics and MA as some don't like both( I prefer classic but don't mind some MA as it allows me to save money).

I take this question as asking, "Would you be willing to re-buy every character you've already bought in both 5" and 6" scale?"

Absolutely not. As of now, I've got a TON of ML figures on top of other 6" scale figures from DCD, DCSH, and McFarlane's various lines. I will not buy figures that are incompatible with the formidable stack that I already have.

There would have to be something make this line stand out for me. I already have many of these characters as Marvel Legends and Minimates, so there would have to be a good reason for me to start buying another line. Of course, if they were styled like JLU... that would do it. :D

I'd LOVE a 3.75" line as long as it had ML level sculpts and articulation. If they were 5 POA crappy toys, then NO, I wouldn't buy them. If they were at least as good as Showdown or better, then I'd sell all my ML's and change to these. 1:18 is a much better scale for playsets, diorama's & accessorizing. Quinjets, Xjets, X-Mansion, Avengers Mansion, Doom Castle, all of that would be possible/probable in the 1:18 scale and would absolutely rock. Also there's plenty of other stuff already out there that would work with them.

I never got into ML bec. I hated Toy Biz's paint washes. Unlike most people, I like Hasbro's paint on their ML figures. If they produce Marvel figures in 3-3/4" scale with Star Wars-level of articulation and ML character selection, I'm definitely in!

In the JLU style ....YES!

Any other way ...no.

The only Marvel figures I buy now are SAF and SHSQ.

Depends on:

Character selection (I like Spidey characters most)
Articulation (I prefer less than more)
Sculpt
Style (animated yes, realistic maybe)
Price
Accessories (or lack there of)
Ease of getting characters (no 1 a case BS)
Action Features (or lack there of)
Commitment to line (give me a nice long line, I'm in!)

I'd be interested if they were more like the vintage Star Wars or anniversary Joes, not so much if they were to continue like Superhero Showdown... didn't like those so much...
