That's because when you're drunk or in any other state like that, your body and your mind will remain relaxed instead of tensing up in a crash like that and thus making you less likely to be injured.

Wow. Just wow.
I once saw a car slide on ice, hit the guard rail and roll over. Nothing like this flying crash into a bridge support though. I can't imagine actually being there when it happened. Its good to know that the driver survived, hopefully a bit wiser for his experience.
On a side note, how do you embed youtube videos into your post? I can't quite figure it out and don't want to just create a string of posts with a bunch of links. I know I am missing something really obvious, so feel free to call me stupid-head when you show me.

Hit that and paste the Youtube URL in between the two HTML code boxes.
