I don't listen to music as much as I used to, mainly because my wife learned to drive so I'm not travelling by public transport as much anymore I tend to prefer groups that have a mix of styles. Currently the MP3 player has: Avenged Sevenfold (all albums) Nightwish (all albums) System of a Down (all albums) Dragonforce (all albums) Turisas (both albums plus Rasputin) Skindred (only about 5-6 songs - they can get a little same-y) Cthonic (all albums) Lacuna Coil (a few tracks) Queen (quite a lot, but by no means everything) Alter Bridge (all albums, but I'm getting a little bored with them) Archenemy (a couple of tracks) Some Weird Al Some string quartet and piano versions of Iron Maiden songs And a bit more Jo

I don't know if the rendition of the song or the video is more hideous.
>SHUDDER<
but I do love Shatner's version of "Common People"

We've been having a bit of a Pulp revival at work.
I love 'Misfits' and 'Sorted for Es and Whiz' from the 'A Different Class' album - we used to listen to it loads when we were at school.
Jo and I'm glad to say I haven't been able to acces that video at work...

I confess that my music tastes are, well, different. Just finished listening to The Gadfly by Dmitri Shostakovich and am now listening to Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. Next will be You Belong To Me by Jo Stafford.

You're like a walking commercial for Pandora or spotify or iTunes (or some other such 'net based radio) aren't you?

By the way ...
I'm listening to a John Williams radio documentary that is a retrospecitve look at his involvement in the SW universe or films.
Its nice to hear all that wonderfully composed ochestral music without the accompanying visuals of the "prequel trilogy"

Sounds like good listening. (Just finished Frank Sinatra singing The Way You Look Tonite). The prequel. Just mentioning it makes my head ache and my stomach roll over...
