Teaching Pet Peeve: Kids who wonder why they're failing when:
A) they hasn't passed a test
B) rarely do homework
C) don't bother to make up stuff they missed during their (often far too many) absences

It's called Cause and Effect, kiddos! Your actions (or in many cases inactions) have consequences!

Sorry, we're closing up the 3rd quarter out here and I've been bombarded with this type of thing.

Kids on the extended day run who ignore the bus stop 1 block from their apartments because they think they get curb service.

People who call me wanting something but not showing caller ID information. To me that means you have something to hide, and if you have something to hide, you are crooked, and I don't deal with crooked people, so fix your mistake so I can see who you are or don't call me.

I had to get in on this...

- Music loud enough to shake my floors.
- Inconsiderate neighbors
- Slamming cupboards and doors (unnecessary!)
- Hippies and overly-liberal people
- Churchies and overly-conservative people
- People who push their religion on others
- Texting and the Over-use of cell phones
- Liking things just because they are "Old-School"
- Dubstep (It just isn't music)
- Dodge Neon's made to look like import racers
- All tuner cars (You aren't in the fast and the furious, get over it)
- Reading over my shoulder (Especially when I'm on the computer)
- Smoking
- Drinking to get drunk (It used to be civilized!)
- Not putting disc based media back in it's case
- Obese people who think it's a disability
- People who don't park in the lines
- People who obviously bring too much to an express lane and don't care
- Improper usage of "Ironic"
- Loud, bratty children
- When you step on one little spot of water in your socks and it keeps sticking to your foot...

I have a lot. I will say, I am a bit of a curmudgeon. I could go on, but I won't. :D

WOW, that's still playing at your Target? Something I don't miss about my merchandising days, listening to the constant promos in all of the stores I serviced.

Farmers in oversized tractors driving on main roads at 10MPH and refusing to move over to let traffic by (for over 2 miles)..and expect all the oncoming traffic to stop and pull into the grass for him since he refuses to pull of the asphalt..

Yes I live in a farm area-- but I have my whole life-- and you dont have to be an A-hole about it-- move over..

Every time I bring my kids to work someone makes a joke about them being a new supervisor, intern, or assistant. The joke is unoriginal and not remotely funny. There are even a few coworkers who use the same joke again and again. Trust me it does not get any funnier.

ANY fast food restaurant where the people taking your order can't actually 'take' your order, If I say Fish Sandwich, where exactly did you hear the word 'meal' in there? If I want the meal, I will say the word meal, or use the number designation, and don't interrupt me. That is bad enough, it is worse when it is the MANAGER!

I hate to say it Mudd, but I would recommend you don't do fast food anymore.

That is a part of the training, or at least it was. When I worked in fast food I was told point blank, always read the order back as a "combo meal" upsell, ALWAYS. Never complete an order without adding fires and a drink. It isn't a question, make it a statement and sell it that way. Interrupting helps make the sell because it eliminates thinking response time and distracts from the upsell effort.

It's a bit shady, but very effective. Probably some of the best marketing/sales psychology I've ever encountered.

Well I don't like it and I am not inclined to be silent about it, so if they want to bring that on their employees, so be it.

I am considering a T shirt that say "Don't interrupt me, I am telling you exactly what I want. Pay attention!" just to see how many are smart enough to actually notice and pay attention.

Sometimes I come up with ideas that I think would make good Tshirts or bumper stickers.

Ultimate fail videos.

A person is shooting a video, he knows there is always the possibility of something going wrong. The ultimate fail is when it does, he does NOT hold the camera still and get the shot. A camera shot bouncing around is not funny to me. If you can't hold it still, don't waste bandwidth by posting it, moron.
