So, any of you tech savvy fellows (and gals) out there know anything about this?

Apparently it is a bit of a surprise that was launched earlier this year.

A credit card sized Computer that retails between $25 and $35 depending on the mb capacity.

Yes. That is correct. $25 and $35.

it is a very bare bones, no frill set up (doesn't even include an operating system) that is a Linux based board meant to be used as a teaching aid for programming. It looks remarkably cool, and very easy to get started with, and most of the examples have it used in some form of robotics control.

The web site and forums are flooded with very ably- and creatively- minded people of all ages and user levels getting one of these units set up and plugged in.

The company's main desire is to get these units into schools to "reignite a fascination for programming in today's youth"

If anyone out there has used one, or has more info to share about the use of one, please let me know. I can think of a couple of people that this might make an incredible Christmas gift for.
