In this weeks Sunday paper, which I just got a round to, there are 10 pages of toy coupons, including $2 off any one IM3 Assembler figure, expires 4-21-13.

In OAFE's Points of Articulation column this week the author complains at length about the lengthy string of baby coupons he got at the register at TRU, pointing out that he has no baby, has never had a baby, and has no plans for the future to have a baby (at this time). He also mentions having a rewards card and knowing that they track his purchases. Well I have no such card and I recently got the same set of extreme coupons. Extremely ANNOYING coupons! I have to say that I agree with the author, there are things that could be done more intelligently, if there were intelligent people there to do them.

Here is one for you non believers. I just got back from Food Fair, the only store I have that doubles/triples coupons. I went there to use some small # coupons I had and passed thru the toy area on my way to check out when I spotted a Sif figure, then I noticed she was $5! If I had not been cutting corners on my groceries, I never would have made that score. :D

Walgreens has the occasional gem at well. Usually a buck or two more, but I only buy tough to find figures there.

Grocery stores can be useful, but I buy most of my food at Target and Walmart these days, so I haven't scoped out those aisles in months.

couponing takes quite a bit of time, but that show is interesting because you get to see people get really good deals for all that work cutting coupons.

For all of you Vets out there, I noticed this while I was checking out the Vet Day offerings.

Toys“R”Us – At Toys“R”Us and Babies”R”Us, military members and their families can get 20% off one regular-priced item from Sunday, Nov. 10 through Saturday, Nov. 16.

I have been looking at the Fisher-Price Wizards Lair playset for a while. TRU has it on clearance for $15 now. I just thought I would check if anyone knew of any compatible coupons out right now?

Hasbro Toy Shop takes 20% off sitewide, including clearance items, via coupon code "FRIENDS14". Even better, that same code bags free shipping. Not sure when it ends!

This week TRU has Hasbro Titan Series figures 2 for $14.99, and my wife found a Hasbro coupon on line for $2 off 1 Titan Series figure good until 4/27/2014. Using 2 of these coupons should let you get 2 figures for $10.99. :D

If you like to shop at Kroger and use the gas points, here is an idea. Right now buying a gift card gets you 2X points. Over the weekend it was 4X points. I looked at the cards and saw Marshalls, Target, and more, but did not see a TRU until tonight. :x They have a $25 and a $50. You can put your cash for your toys into the card and save on your gas.
