More information here: http://www.peterdavid.netThis is sad news. He's one of my favorite writers. His runs on Hulk and Aquaman rank among my favorites of all time.

He couldn't have been that old. What? Mid-late 50's maybe?

I had my first heart attack when I was 49. The late Mark Gruenwald died of a heart attack when he was 46. Heart disease doesn't care how old or young people are.
Mike (I wish Mr. David a very speedy recovery. He's a very nice man and an extraordinarily gifted writer.)

It definitely doesn't discriminate on age. My father in law passed away at the age of 60 from a aortic dissection. Which is too bad on so many levels, but knowing he'd love the explicit language out of his grandson makes things even worse.
