Where's all the NFL talk been??

My Broncos choked, KC has a useless #1 pick, the Ravens gave a laughable contract to an average QB, Ray Lewis can finally go away, Free Agency is beginning, lots to talk about...

Hi-BEAR-nating.
j/k
Your broncos got Tom Brady's WR. You happy about that?

By BEARS however are in rebuilding through a new coach. Hope they res-sign Urlacher for 1 - 2 yrs and then he can retire.
I just want to make sure the BEARS win-out the NFC North division.

The Bills have nowhere to go but up. At least we finally got rid of our useless quarterback. :?

End of an era yesterday.... the BEARS organization and Urlacher have gone separate ways since establishing a deal. :?

Ughhh just sad and mad on both parties.
Urlacher is old and declining but his leadership cannot be replaced, I was hoping that he played one more year and transitioning to another player.
Bears should have paid him, not overly, but a respectable salary. Minimum 3-3.5 mil / 1 yr.. possibly another last year extension.
Urlacher's camp wanting 5.75mil/yr was a bit too much.

All around a messy divorce.

I just wish that he wouldn't go to another team and just retire.

That was totally unexpected...I just assumed they were going to re-sign Urlacher. They have no contingency, with Roach singing with the Raiders...scary that a 2nd or 3rd tier FA or a rook will man the middle next season...what a mess. I cannot believe he hasn't earned 3-4mill, in the big scheme. Really bums me out.

And Shellhead - you think Fitz was that bad? I didn't expect him to be released.

And I'm cautiously optimistic about Welker, but I am concerned that there is enough to go around to be effective, plus the fact he dropped 16 passes (officially)...although it seemed like WAY more than that...

Look, we've got the longest playoff drought in the NFL (13 years and counting). It's a time for bold moves.

Fitz was mediocre at best.
