You know...once they leave UT...I'm kind of indifferent towards Vols players unless they play for my NFL team.
Since I'm not a Colts fan, I'm pretty indifferent towards Manning. Obviously he's great, but come on...4 years of him getting snoogled by Florida...and then the year after he leaves we win the National Title?

That doesn't exactly make Tee Martin the better quarterback, though.

With this crowd, I was exactly sure anyone would even make the comment...but I actually thought if someone did it would be you.

Point still stands...Tee Martin led UT to a National Title. And since I'm more of a college guy than NFL (and the fact manning doesn't play for my NFL squad) Tee Martin, to me, is the man.

And CC...let's face it...1998 was meant to happen. Everything that could possibly go wrong for UT during games did, and they still managed to pull out victories. Last second wins against Syracuse, Florida and Arkansas (I still laugh at Clint Stoerner on a daily basis) and then avoiding (argueably) the best team in Ohio State...and getting Florida State with their starting QB injured.

It was fate. Tee Martin led that fate

At this point...I'm just happy that Kiffin is gone. I really want Dooley to be the man. SEC is brutal now, so UT may never be the same.

I was shocked that Kiffin made it out of town alive. You guys were ready to string him up (and rightfully so). I view him and Nick Saban in the same light, as douchebag extraordinaires.

I was indifferent to him on the hire. I'm not going to lie and act like I was against it. I really didn't know much about him short of he was supposed to be an offensive genius...and that was something we've lacked in Knoxville (aside from the Cutcliffe years). Randy Sanders was a worthless sack of crap, and that guy they hired from Richmond (who is now at bowling green) just wasn't ready.

Our offense looked good at times last year. And I wasn't a huge Crompton hater, I liked the kid. Hardesty had a great year. I do hate to see him get hurt in the NFL right now, but oh well.

As far as kiffin leaving town...it was bad. My cousin said that there was a lot of burning and crap going on that night (much like something going on in Morgantown, WV or Columbus, OH after their teams win, respectively). So that was kind of humorous. The worst part about him leaving was taking his dad. Oregeron leaving doesn't hurt my feelings at all. he's a sack of Sh@#. I didn't like him when he was at Ole Miss.

The best part about the Oregon game this past weekend was all the Oregon folks wearing "We Hate Kiffin Too" t-shirts. When my buddy emails me the pics of our trip I'll post them.
