This stuff is right up my alley. I used to be a complete skeptic on ALL paranormal activity, but after an encounter with a ghost I learned to keep an open mind. Ever since, I've been very into ghost hunting and have even had two experiences with what could have been a bigfoot. However I can't be sure it was a bigfoot with 100% certainty so I try to keep my imagination in check. They were enough to make me wonder though.

I researched the sheriff (Fred Diamond) who recorded the men. The Social Security Death Index and Find a Grave both list him as having died in 1978. He was in his late 40's. Nothing on Calvin Parker, though.

The Underworld stuff alone ain't helping my migraines and anything having to do with Scorpio's influence always gives me the willies. I will say that this year has been OWNED by Murphy's Law. All of these dates and predictions are scary for many people, and I'm obviously glad that the 10/28 date was meaningless...but I think the 12/21 date next year is really going to make a mess of society. So much has been made about it, and I think that it's going to be somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy. On a "cosmic" scale, nothing may happen, but there's enough unstable kooks out there to ensure that something is going to happen around that date...
