Hi, I was following up on this project. Will there be any casts made for purchase? Thanks.

Unfortunately right now this is on hold. I've had other things come up that have drawn my more immediate attention and funds. I'm still planning on doing this at some point, though. I'll keep you all updated when I get around to it.

You might consider other method in casting this project. Smooth-On makes a great brush-on moldmaking silicone, which can then be further thickened and brushed on in layers to build strength. And once you've got a good silicone mold and a strong mother mold (which can be made out of cheap plaster bandages), it's not difficult to just swish a few ounces of plastic around for awhile, making sure all the mold's surface has good coverage.
You get sort of a candy shell of plastic, and you can fill that with expanding foam. It's not rock solid, but it honestly doesn't need to be. All the details are there.

Yeah, I'm curious about the progress on this as well. Did you ever followup with Spy to see if he'd be up for doing it? Seems like if he was working on this, he'd already be churning out repros for all of us by now.

As far as I know, this is not moving forward right now.
Peace,
Chip

I was following up to see if there would be any movement on this again? I am still very interested to get a cast of this made and willing to spend big for it. Let me know either way if you're still interested in doing this anytime in the future. Thanks again and hope all is well.

instead of casting it we could look at having it scanned and duplicated. Then we could getvit in the correct size
