Yeah, I've seen that before. I'd love to have it, but I can't spend that much right now. Maybe eventually. He (Alex) has had that listed for awhile now, so I'm hoping it will still be there if I have some extra cash on hand...

Cool. Most definitely.

Got a Tomy Goof Up Golf in the mail yesterday. Now I just need the basketball one and I'll have all of the TOMY wind up games.

A new Windup shelf I added. Took all the Simpsons stuff off to make room for new windups I acquired:




In the back left, there's the Raid Bug wind up, along with the 7 Up Spot wind up. In front, there's a Bandai Inch-along dog and alligator. In the center, back, is the 2 TOMY wind up watch games from the 70's that I got with that big windup lot that included the cave fisher. In the bags on the back wall are the Cave Fisher. On the left, pinned to the wall is a TOMY Hilarious Hat cowboy hat, on the other wall is a Hilarious Hat Cowboy hat. There's a few carded Pocket Pets on the back wall, as well as a TOMY Doozer in a plastic bag, in basically mint condition. Directly to the right of the 2 Inchalongs are 2 TOMY Flopovers, one looks somewhat like a frog, and ones a crab. In the far back right, is an old caterpillar windup, I believe it's from the 60's or so. Also, there's the lot of Smurf windups I just acquired for .99 cents!!


I also re-did my closet door, so it now looks like this:

Hey, I know this isn't vintage since it just came out this past weekend (at least that is the first time I saw it), but there are Toy Story 3 wind ups that are designed to replicate vintage styles including (and my personal favorite) a Slinky Dog pencil topper.

If I remember, I'll shoot pics with my phone the next time I see them.

Those Nabisco wind-ups make me smile every time I see them.

I love stuff like that.

Yeah, I got super lucky on those Nabisco wind ups. They went for $50 on a bid I had forgot about, so I wrote the guy and told him if the buyer didn't pay for some reason, I'd be willing to pay that. 2 weeks go buy, and he writes me back and asks if I still want em for $50!! When I opened the box and started pulling out windups, I was PISSED, cause they were some of the Galoob tools ones, some old Garfield ones, a whole line of ET ones, I thought he ripped me off. I kept digging through the box and the whole Nabisco set was there, he just threw those in for free!! I made out excellent on that one...

Cool, I'd like to see em.

Check out seller id: handytoy and he has about a dozen or see Tin Repro windups listed within the last day or two.

Cool thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, right now I only collect plastic windups (and prety much only vintage ones, unless it's something REALLY cool. |Tin toys are cool, but there's soooo many of them, and they date extremely far back and some cost a huge amount of money. I'd like to eventually get a nice collection of the Linemar/Marx Hannah Barbara tin toys, but it'll take some savings before I open that (tin) can of worms...
