Yeah great. Let's see if it really sells. Then it is really worth $2595.00.

Its one tough figure to find thats for sure, never released in the US. Got mine 8 or 9 years ago - traded it (and some loose Joes) for some VHS movies at a small local vintage shop thats no longer around. Found the cape for him last year at our local Comic Con in a box of Star Wars figs. Probably will never find the boots though.

I just watched the film on TCM again a couple of weeks back and although it goes all "2001" at the end, I gotta say the film did make for a great toy line. The Humanoids looked like pretty cool characters onscreen, as were Maximilian and Captain S.T.A.R. Plus, lots of troop building potential to match Stormtroopers and Cylons, which is always good.
I hope the remake makes it to theaters so we can see a classic and/or re-imagined toy line along the way.

Nahh, but there were some good ones like Superman. The guy didn't really know the value of the figure, just that it was a plain looking figure marked Disney. Without his cape, the Humanoid really isn't much to look at. I know a loose one without cape and boots recently sold for around $500.

So, oh experts of the vintage, why should I be impressed with this figure?
What is the Black Hole Humanoid? Why are they so rare?
There has to be some amazing back story that you can tell!

It was never released in the U.S and it's one of the "grail" figures from before the internet was around. I've never found one myself but have heard about more than one Canadian that has(always in a box of junk!)
