Won another Q Bert collectible today!! A metal bank with Coily wrapped around Q Bert, from 1983. Got it for $4.21 +$3 shipping.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about it. Somebody has some Q Bert Animation Cells on Ebay right now, from the old cartoon (remember that and Frogger and Pitfall Harry and Donkey Kong??) I can't remember the name of the show, like Saturday Morning Arcade or something like that. Anyway, I'd kill for those animation cells, but moneys to tight this month. Of course, when your broke, all the really cool stuff comes up...

Those cels are fantastic items for any Q Bert or video game collection. I hope you can win 'em! $25 is still low for these kinds of items.

Yeah, I wish money wasn;t so short this month. I might bid on it anyway, that's not going to come around again any time soon. The ONLY thing keeping me from buying it is that I don't collect animation cells, but this would look great with my other Q bert and Donkey Kong stuff. Anyway, I'll take pics when I get that bank and post em.

Finally got the metal Q Bert bank today. It's in GREAT condition, case fresh (the guy has 10 of them, they're from 1983, made in Penn. by a company called A Certain Place Inc.). One thing though, it's MUCH smaller than I thought it would be. Smaller than a soda can by a fair amount. Not sure how much sense this would make to actually use as a bank...I'm also bidding on a plastic Q Bert bank with just his head in orange, it's still got the sticker on it. Anyway, I plan on taking pics of the Q Bert stuff later tonight and posting them. Stay tuned.
