It makes a craoking sound even in the package. I guess that's why customs put a 9 day hold on it...that or the G20/8 summit.

New stuff from Ebay. Great deals on both. I had lost out on a Q*bert bank like this, still had the sticker as well, when it went over $30. I was lucky enough to get this one for $5.50!! I also bought the case of windups ghosts for a Buy It Now of $9.95. Interestingly enough, I had bought the pink knock off Pac Man a year back, she charged me $20 for it, and I ended up having to go through Paypal before she sent it. It turned out NOT to be vintage, as it was Made in China (we had a trade embargo against China til the mid-late 80's, so odds are, if it's from China, it's fairly new. The counterpoint to that is, if it's made in Honk Kong, it's from before they became part of China again. So Any windups that say "Hong Kong" are from 1986 or back. I got extremely lucky getting these for this price, either way, but it turns out they are made in Hong Kong, so they ARE the vintage ones!!! So even though I took a loss on that one I spent $20 on, I have MORE than made up for it with this, if I sold all but 2, for $10 apiece, that would give me $100 off a $15 (with shipping) investment. not bad...

The Toad Double Bubble looks great in its box. I liked how the Turtles and Bucky lines featured those comic-style dialogue bubbles on the packaging.

A Q*Bert plastic bank for $5.50 is a great bargain. Same goes for the case of Pac-Man ghosts. I didn't remember at which point toys markings switched from Hong Kong to China after the embargo had ended. Thanks for reminding me, Else.

That Q-Bert bank reminds me of a balclva. It has the same texture
