New purchases thread.

Nice, Dan! That was a fun day!

marillion, unfortunately I think this guy is tapped out of good deals. Somewhere between the last time I saw him and when Dan came down he got some "advise" from some friends at work. When we met up with him on Sunday he was all business. He had his ipad out looking up prices on random websites. Dan got some good deals, but i think it was only because we were there for a while, and he wanted to get back home to watch his football games.

The guy is now getting everything together to put in a consignment type antique mall.

It was fun while it lasted!

Found a cool little robot type thing the other day...

After looking at it for a while I figured out what it's deal was...

The barrels come off the back of it, and it's a pen! It's out of ink, but still pretty cool anyway!

Also, if you turn the head around completely, a little compartment opens up!

I'm assuming it had maybe some small sheets of paper in the compartmant. Pretty cool, huh?

Now this sounds much more like every toy seller near me or that I have ever met......

Woohoo! Just received a really good lot that a friend won for me off eBay. All Turtles stuff, mostly vintage besides a couple 2003 figures. It was roughly 20-35 figures, The Turtle Van, around 10 of the original Eastman and Laird comics, 100-ish tops trading cards and stickers, and the first 2 NES games. Awesome

My local thrift store rarely lets me down! I always find awesome stuff there. Well As I was looking through the toy bags I saw a Guts! Lazer fighter figure "Slinger" (the one with the grenade). The old one Ive had since the early 90s is missing his shield so I was stoked to fine this one complete. It also came with an awesome Dino Rider figure Termite, and another Guts! figure and a bunch of other stuff. I found another bag with another Dino Rider figure named Finn and its also had a bunch of other old figures. Could anyone here identify the other figures in the pic besides the Dino Riders and Guts?

The red guy is a panosh Place Voltron figure, and the green guy is a Blackstar demon!

I get a willow vibe of the 2nd from Right bottom row-- but Im probably wrong on that. (I think those figures were diecast)
