I don't think there are any boxed Belles in this collection of dolls. Plenty of Ariels, but no Belles.
Peace,
Chip

I thoroughly enjoyed the blog (and the now followup blog on evolution). Thanks for sharing and thanks for not chickening out at the last minute. It takes a real man to keep his word and open a toy like that.

i never open anything and only collect mint stuff, i have the intention of passing it all on eventually but i think its better not to open your toys, this way they keep 100% of their value and if they havn't been opened plus having the option to open them is Always on the table, once their open though theres no going back so thats why i think its best to keep them in their little plastic prisons

If you do not open them, they are not toys, they are collectables. If you collect them becuse they are toys, you don't care if they are open and most often prefer that they are.

They're just toys. If you're hoping for them to become an investment of some kind, you'd be better off . . . err, investing. I put more faith in my 401K than some limited edition action figure, especially any action figure after the 80's.

no not an investment, i dont plan on retiring on them if thats what your thinking, its more of a hobby and interest but i intend on passing my stuff down when i eventually kick the bucket. Hopefully if i die of old age in around 60 years anything made after 1989 will still be like 50 years old at that time right ? besides, i have pre 90s stuff.
