I shared a message from Chip on the Super Powers facebook page, I just haven't had the time to copy and paste it here yet.

Chip's message to everyone!

Due to personal and health reasons he has decided to not only sell off his entire collection(sans Brainiac stuff) , but has also given up online socializing via Facebook, forums etc...
I have been consigning Chips collection for a few months now and will be doing so with the rest of his collection once all the private sales are over! If anyone wishes to purchase anything, not already spoken for, from his collection before it goes to eBay, or just wishes to keep in touch, you can contact me privately for his email address!

If he has health/money issues, that's understandable, but the "no more online socializing" thing seems odd to me, almost like he wants to suddenly cut himself off from all his online friends. Last week he deleted both his Facebook account AND his profile on this message board. So some of us who have been communicating with him for years via this forum or Facebook will now no longer be able to keep in touch.

I guess that means his AFI blog will go inactive too.

It's really not my place to go into detail. I just offered to pass along the message. It was his decision after months of contemplation, deliberation and we should respect that.

If you would like to stay in touch with him you can PM me for his email address and I'll gladly give it to you!

And yes the his blog is done as well.

There's always a possibility he will come back. Chip has a tendency to run in cycles. He's doing what he feels he needs to do right now and we'll respect that. We wish him all the best and we'll be here if he decides to get back on line.

His blog will remain on the site. And we will continue to update the AFi Super Powers blog whenever we find Super Powers related news. http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/super-powers/

And we have some very interesting irons in the fire with that...

We all wish Chip the best at this time. I hope he comes back at some point, if that's what he wants to do.
