Happy New Year! I'm back...well-rested and doing much better, so let's get this party started! Here's my hand-painted protomolded Brainiac internal first shot next to my non-production color Brainiac first shot head/torso. Feel free to share some of your recent SP goodness! Peace, Chip

Welcome back good buddy.
So ... did you sell everything off and are now rebuilding or is that a pic of what you kept before the liquidation?

Wow, that's pretty cool!
Oh, I'll be sharing my new Industrial Toy Werks Bruce Lee shortly. I know you're dying for my write up on that, Chip! Unfortunately, the arm came off in the package. The seller said she'd send me another one.

Still in the process of selling everything non-Brainiac (with a couple exceptions). There's really not much left. Bootlegs and some ephemera. The Brainiac stuff will be eventually all displayed here : http://www.robotbrainiac.com/(One I get off my ass and work on it.) Peace, Chip

Hey fellas. In addition to the amazing LNJ Magnum P.I. I got for my birthday, my lady friend also got me a Super Powers Plastic Man mini comic. As you know, I'm not a SP collector, but I am a Plastic Man collector. So, beyond what info she's given me I don't know a heck'uv a lot about this. Dan mentioned that this was only available in Brazil and, if I understood correctly, only Plas and Cyborg had one? School me, SP scholars!

Estrela released 17 characters for their Super Powers line and every one came with a comic. The Black Batman released later was a repainted SP Batman and did not come with a comic.
Plastic Man is HTF, but I wouldn't call it rare. The rare comics are Cyborg and Shazam. Shazam being the rarest and most expensive!
Myself I'm still looking for the Estrela Flash and Brainiac figures as well as Superman, Aquaman and Flash comics.

Chip, now that you're back, ciould you check/re-upload the images in many of your entries to the Superpowers blog?
Just to give two examples, both the blog entries for the Estrela Superamigos and the Estrela Joker have no longer working images...

I've seen mention before of people who reproduce some of the hard to find weapons for Super Powers figures, such as Samurai's sword, but is there anyone who has reproduced parts of the Hall of Justice playset? Specifically, I need the yellow trapdoor above the jail cell since the one I have has one of its knobs broken off, so it won't stay in place atop the cell and just keeps falling down inside the jail cell. For something small, molded in yellow plastic, surely someone has attempted to cast and reproduce this piece before? I'd hate to have to buy another complete HOJ set just to replace this one small piece.
