Nice work, Frodo! It ain't easy putting a Thundercats collection together nowadays. We need someone to produce some new toys that pay homage to the LJN line with upgraded, 4H-style articulation.

thanks, i would have to agree with you there . its tough find these guys. im actually still trying to find an adult tygra but so far all the ones i've come across are pretty worn out. i really hope they make new versions of these guys. i read somewhere that mattel is trying their best to acquire the license and hope they do.

Sorry to hear about Stonedar, but it's cool that you now have both incarnations of Mumm-Ra, plus his faithful Ma-Mutt!

this arrived today
my thundercats arrived
whats cool is that...
i now have the 3 versions of tygra
young, old(painted nose), unpainted nose
3 versions of lion-o
red, maroon, and orange hair
2 bengali's
plus mum-ra has his buffed version of mum-mutt
the bad thing is that it looks like his head has been super glued on. i already sent the guy who sold me the items a message. atleast it was glued on nicely you barely notice it unless you look very closely. my day was a good one yesterday
;D

Congrats on another great haul! This thread is turning into a nice Thunder Archive as I never knew about these various paint variants. I've seen the young and mature versions of Tygra but had no idea about the others until now.

luck has shined on me again. i never thought in a million years would i ever find or get to own such a rare piece.
one of the holy grails in the thundercats line...
thunderwings lion-o
heres a close up pic of him
a comparison pic with a standard release lion-o
the most notable difference is that tw lion-o doesn't have the light up eyes and the battlematic action feature.
here he is with the other lion-o variants
tw lion-o, red hair, maroon hair, and orange hair
the downside is that he has slight discoloration on his blue suit but i'll hehe im just happy to own one
