Has anyone seen any boxed examples sell recently? Someone has one on eBay for $150 and was wondering if I'd be taken to the cleaners by buying it. I would assume boxed examples are difficult to find...

Chip, I noticed that the seller of the boxed Rom held strong by declining a couple of your offers. Actually, $150.00 isn't out of the question as an asking price, unless of course you are looking to resell it. Not too many of these come up which is why I thought I would chime in.

I appreciate the input. I bit at $150. I can repair the box to where it's displayable, and I have no intention of selling it. The figure itself looks to be in great shape, so it's all good right now.

I'll put up some better pics of all my stuff once I start work on the display room in the new house.

Nice going on the boxed Rom! I was seriously thinking of pulling the trigger, going back and forth in my mind for a few days. If I wasn't about to travel to Figi I would have definitely snagged that sucker. That's a real nice piece of Marvel history. You should be proud of it.
