After looking at that Star Bird starship, I was reminded that my childhood friend had one of those. He also had this plastic vehicle that looked like an orange/brown/sand-colored scorpion. I recall that the tail was a mace, possibly blue or black in color. Inside the head of the scorpion you could see a black interior cockpit with a molded driver. I thought that the manufacturer was Mattel but I can't find anything in my searches. There may have been two other insect vehicles in this collection. Does anyone know anything about these toys?
