When you think about it a bit you start to realize that the price realized is par for the course. Lately I've been picking up original Coleco tabletops and while checking out some auctions I noticed just how extensive the secondary market is when it comes to Atari. Big following so I guess a couple of grand for a sealed unit is not out of the question. Had to be left over store stock, odds of finding a sealed unit at an estate sale is a long shot. I guess anything can happen though. Either way, the buyer has himself a nice piece of history.
