Rumors are circulating that there is some sort of license change between Marvel/DST and whether or not it affects the minimates part of the license. With waves 19 & 20 due out in the next few weeks, we haven't seen any solicitations for anything past those waves. This adds to the speculation that there aren't any more past that. Has anyone gotten any 411 on this? I'd hate to see them go away as they are what drew me in to begin with.

yes, continuing. The only thing DST gave up was marvel resin. Marvel Select and Minimates will continue.

You can see pictures of wave 23 here:

There are also Hulk and Iron Man movie minimates shown but photography was not allowed.

There were photos posted on another site of the Iron Man Wave, but I won't link to them since I don't want to get Julius in trouble :D . Needless to say, they are very good!

I saw those (and saved them to my pc :D ). I like them. I'm always ready to build an IM armory in any style/scale.
Not sure I'm onboard with the Hulk movie mates. I've got a good Hulk from the Defenders set and Abom from this most recent wave. Unless they got permission to do a 2.5" Hulk mate for the movie line, I'll be passing on them.
Can't wait for WarMachine from wave 23 also.

The best thing about movie 'mates is that you can use them to customize secret identities and the like. Tony Stark's suit would make a great Clark Kent, for example.

Hey, did anyone out there get any from 19 and 20? They're the best Marvel Mates yet, IMHO.
