That thing was my FAVORITE playset as a kid. It subbed for the Hall of Justice (which I only saw in the Christmas catalogs) and was played with far more than the Batcave ever was.

Man, if Diamond could get some sort of deal worked out with Marvel/Hasbro and DC/Mattel to do repros of the Mego heroes this way... Aw, I would be sooooooo broke...

So would I. When I saw the Star Trek bridge reproduction, that made me more jealous than ever over the Mego Star Trek Repros.

If they ever did the same for Marvel and DC, and even did the new character thing for them as well, just sign me up with a subscription to get them all!

Man,... I remember the first time I saw the line at K-mart back in '72... They were $1.99 and I had $2 and had to *BEG* my mom for enough to cover tax. I think that $2.09 I spent on Superman may have been the best investment I ever made in entertainment...

Haha, that's how much they were at "Roses" when I was a kid. Man, you could'nt even buy half a gallon off milk for that now. If only I had splurged and bought TWO of each to keep one MIB, I could afford to buy gas now.

Not just kind of awesome. It's uber-awesome. I can hardly wait it's release so I can put all the retro-Mego Trek figures in it and relive some fond memories from my childhood. How I do miss those days.
