My Buffy's leg just broke off ....

This saddens me deeply.
I was just sitting her playing with it, and it broke off.

Now, either I fork out the money to get a new one...
Or I wait for the next Buffy (...)(whatever) to come out with an accompanying toy line.

It was my deluxe Once More with Feeling Buffy.
IT broke at the rotating ball joint where the leg meets the torso.

Has this happened to anyone else ?
All the deluxe Buffys share the same body. Do alot of them have this problem?
If I buy a new one, will I run into this problem again ?
Should I just wait for the next line of toys whenever that happens ?

I highly doubt there will be another line of Buffy action figures. DST cancelled the most recent wave (Oz/Drusilla/Wood) a long time ago.

I *think* most of the deluxe Buffy figures (OMWF, Graduation Day and End of Days) can be found quite cheaply on-line and perhaps even in stores. I'd check out a few online stores for a cheap replacement or even Evil-Bay.

I have a wide range of the deluxe Buffy figures (Buffy, Faith, Angel, Spike, Willow, Kennedy and Kendra) and I haven't had any breakage problems. My only breakage problem was with Dawn who came with a removeable head straight out of the package. That typed, I don't "play" with my figures a lot (because of all the reported breakage problems) so I may have just been lucky so far.

But after the tragic accident with my first Buffy figure, I went on Amazon and found a "End of Days" Buffy for a decent price.
Got it today.

Right out of the package I twisted off one of the jacketed hands. My Faiths jacketed hands can turn so I thought, hey Buffy's should to. But no.
And her left leg is extremely loose. So loose I'm afraid I'm gonna repeat the same problem from my first Buffy figure with this one.

The hand/arm problem isn't that big. I just put my "Once More with Feeling" Buffy arms on my new one. She now sports this purple tshirt with red puffy sleeves. Looks kinda odd but still looks like something she would have worn on the show.
Mix and Match and Frankenstein.

Now granted, my new figure problems are probably just due to how old the figure is...
But still, I think I'm finished with Buffy figures until possibly a new line comes out.
There is a possibility of a new movie on the way. And after all this twilight crap, vampires becoming popular again, and Sarah Michelle Gellars career not going anywhere, it seems more possible than ever.
Hopefully a new company gets the toy license if that happens.
Hopefully Playmates. I love what they have done with Star Trek and Terminator.
