I've posted this in just about every thread I could think of where it might be relevant but in case you missed it:

If anyone is willing and able to pick up an extra SDCC set for my son that would be awesome.

Thanks

I grabbed these yesterday from TRU and was very disappointed-- these pale in comparison to the Beast Saga figures (granted they are half the price and I dont have to import them)-- but pieces falling off, (more so than normal minimates)-- and the sculpts seem very unfinished to me.not to mention standing problems (and I think I got a walrus figure with two left leg pieces)..Weapons are decent- but this line should be about the figures- and they are very lacking--I applaud the attempt at trying to change from the norm- and they do a good job with the snake-- but the Bat is horrible execution..

I think this will be the only wave of these I will get -- and for once --the vintage is leaps and bounds above the brand new...

I would have to agree.

of all the minimates I own, these are by far the lowest quality. I just wasn't impressed with the execution once I had them out of the package at all.

My son likes the Beast Saga figures more too. If only they weren't so damn hard to get with any regularity. ... and what I wouldn't give for a nice English rules translation....

I grabbed the TRU exclusive set this week, but haven't opened it yet. If they are as bad as you guys say maybe I'll return it.

They just "feel" cheap.

Joints are real loose and some parts just fall off in a slight breeze.

They will make for a great display, but they aren't figures that can actually be played with. Especially not by a child.

And I think, personally, I actually prefer the Specialty Shop/Diamond exclusive paint ops over the TRU paint ops.
