With the acquisition of the BSG license, I think DST is really coming into its own in the collector action figure market. Added to the Star Trek, Stargate and Buffy lines they've carved themselves a nice little niche.
When I first read about DST's Star Trek line, I figured I'd never get around to cllecting them, since I would always wonder whether I would be better off tracking down older lines like the one by Playmates. But with their improved character selection and the promise of BSG figures, I'm seriously thinking of building a DST collection. Hopefully they'll be in scale.

I felt the same way, but now that they are all out...it's becoming tough for me to ignore this line.

Judging from the Star Trek and Stargate stuff, they seem to be very capable of coming up with great figures of the actors in the SF/Fantasy/Horror genres. It's nice to speculate on what other properties they could get licenses for. At this rate, I think they are hot on the heels of NECA in terms of making source-accurate figures, but with much more poseability. They could probably even challenge Mctoys soon.

Yeah... I have all the Playmates Trek stuff... in storage. The AA/DST stuff looks great. I just didn't need to rebuy that stuff in a different scale no matter how good they looked.... But NOW that they are doing figures from Wrath of Khan.... Well, I'm ALL in for those! Oh and the BSG stuff? Everyone get behind me. The line starts here!

They need to get some more Art Assylum SHips.
The Defiant in scale with the previous Star Trek ships would be awesome.
As would some of the Star Gate universe Ships.

The Defiant in scale with the previous Star Trek ships would be awesome. I agree - I sold my Playmates Defiant years ago assuming that AA would be making it...

Well, here's hoping they pick up the Black Hole license.
I wonder if the BSG license includes the classic series?
Peace,
Chip

But a version with lights and sound that also happens to be basically the same size as the Furuta Defiant (Keeps it in scale with the other ships) would rock so much.
