Wave 1 of the new series will include
Lt. Colonel John Sheppard,
Dr. Elizabeth Weir, and a
Wraith Male.

A limited Field Ops Dr. Weir will also be included, as well as a Diamond Previews exclusive Field Ops Sheppard.

As with the first two waves of Stargate SG-1 figures (the second of which is due in stores later this month), each figure in the first two assortments will include a piece of the Stargate -- in this case, of course, the blue chevron Atlantis gate.

I wasn't planning on buying all the figures but the price of sets that comic shops presell is too tempting. Can't wait to display my SG-1 team next to my Atlantis team. Anyone else excited about these?

Depends on the quality of the paint apps, something that's thus far kept me away from the SG-1 figs. I'm interested, but whether I'll buy or not all comes down to how the final figs come out.
