I am considering making a custom Bride of Dracula using this figure as the base.
Image
I am trying to decide if I should use it as is or swap the arms with the bare arms on the Leeloo figure?

Because of a comment about my furniture, I decided to take a quick look at the chairs available to 1/18 scale. From left to right: Parlor chair from the Halloween collection at Michaels, folding chair from World Peacekeepers HQ playset at Big Lots, Armchair from BifBangPow's Shark Tank box sets, Justice League chair from Pocket Superheroes line by DC Direct, and Star Trek bridge chair from Playmates movie bridge playset. The only chair I know about right now that I do not have is the Mego Hall of Justice/Fortress of Solitude playset chair from the Pocket Super Heroes line (note the spelling).

Even as the Dynamic Duo and their crimson comrade cart the frosty felons off to the city cooler, a cagey character creeps into the chilly condo.

So I am waiting on the Rainbowpool box set to come out, not that I like Deadpool or anything, but because I would like figures of Solo and Foolkiller, and not that these are the figures I would prefer, but they will do for now. Anyway, I started thinking about the other 2 figures in the box, Slapstick and Terror, neither of which is properly scaled. This is just because Dwight is a cheap boogledong and did not want to dig out old bucks to make properly scaled versions of these 2 characters, so in thinking about that, I remembered this:
Image
Here is a comparison shot of the Alpha Blanx side by side with the DCiH Atom and the Marvel Vance Astro, both of which are essentially painted blank figures from their respective lines.
Image
You can see how well it compares to the DCih figures as opposed to the Marvel figures, unless you are using it to make a kid size figure, which is the point here because Slapstick IS roughly kid size.

My first Jack Asteroid arrived today. His first version is red. I got the Whitestar version which is all white so it can be customized.
Image
I had all of the Major Matt Mason line, except Captain Lazer, when I was a kid. I have been hoping for them as regular 4" figures for years. These are close enough, they will do. Red was Sgt Storm's color. I chose to go with Doug Davis' yellow suit.
Image
The magnetic flight pack is unique to this line, so I had to improvise the colors on that.

I found this guy yesterday. Not impressed with the rest of the line, but he will make a cool child ghost. One more for Monster Mash 2018.

My Vampire Killer arrived today. A little disappointed he is only 3 PoA, but he still looks good.
