I have found a challenger over at JoeCustoms.com. At present he has 2 more Green Lanterns than I do, so I guess I need to get busy. He is making all of his custom based on MU type bodies.

So I have been thinking about a Chaselon figure for some time, trying to figure out what to use as a base, when I had a revelation a few days ago...Styrofoam fishing floats. They came 2 to a pack, so I decided to do both. First I gave them a white undercoat to sketch out the design on. You will note I am doing the version from the animated movies. Next I cut the mohawk from a piece of cardboard and applied it with superglue. Then I started painting. This is the point I am at now. More to come. CCC.

CCC. Ok, I made a slight error here. I lost track of my Jade figure so she wasn't in the photo when I counted. The other guy has Alan Scott, so my Jade counts, or his Alan doesn't, depending on how picky you are, so the gap is 1 and I just closed it. Presenting Tuebeen. CCC.

I made the tentacles the same way I made Wachet's arms. I measured a 3" length of wire, then folded it back on itself, making each length a little shorter. This created the taper. Then I wrapped the wire tight around it. This was then wrapped with paper tape. These were then superglued to the ball. (2 more need to be applied here to finish the figure.) CCC.

Here is the finished figure. I tried mounting the tentacles flush with a wire pin but this proved too unstable, so I used a drill bit the same size as the appendage to drill out a pocket to set it in by hand, meaning I drilled the pocket out by hand. Then I finished painting. The ball had 2 holes where the hardware was installed. I filled the top one with putty but I left the bottom one so the figure could be mounted on a flying base. CCC.

It took me a while to find an extra Union Jack for that. Still need a Phoenix/Jean for Goblin Queen. Could get a First Class 2 pack at TRU but don't feel like paying $20(after tax) for it. I could use Psylocke and I have one but I want to try and save the hair color so I don't have to try and match it. Besides, I am considering her for a disco Dazzler.
