Here is one I never thought I would do, but when I saw the IF figure then saw a pic, it just screamed to be done. For all of you Spidey fans... CCC.

I actually started this a while ago but finally got a round tuit and finished it last night. and here is a shot with the Yellowjacket Ant Man figure and the Doom/Absorbing Man 2 pack Wasp figure. While looking into this I stumbled onto a blog of someone trying to do a review of the Antman/Wasp figures from the box set. He said that that Wasp was a repaint of this one. I promptly corrected him, it is most definitely not. I actually learned that those 2 figures are actually Heroclix. Apparently Hasbro was too lazy and just used Whizkids figures for the set. CCC.

I just finished this conversion from a Union Jack. First I stripped the accessories off, then I gave the figure a light base coat of paint, then a coat of Orange and finally the Black. The tiger stripes were done with a sharpie. CCC.

Here is a little background on this one. I got the idea to use Grodd for Solovar and Congorilla, but as I was only able to get 1 extra Grodd, I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do, so he got put on the back burner. More recently I have been playing with various animal figures for Beast Boy and I got the idea from the TT cartoon to use Grodd to make a Beast Boy gorilla, since it is one of his favorites. This brought the debate about who to do with my one extra Grodd back up, and Congorilla won. So here he is, in progress. I am still working out how I want to do the sideburns because I am concerned that just putty will be too fragile. CCC.
