I'm excited, because I FINALLY got some decent pictures of my collection.

Also, let me note, this is my first time doing the whole 'imageshack' thing, so if I royally screw anything up for anybody, moderators, delete, fix, whatever you have to do. Anyway, here goes...

Absolutely LOVE and am insanely jealous of all the WB Studio Store stuff. It's so tough to find all that nowadays, even with ebay's help...

Thanks for the kind words. I'm just so excited to finally have figured out how to get some decent pics up. Part of the impetus was the recent aquisition of my Detolfs, which I couldn't be happier with.

Chip, the WB store stuff has been an absolute labor of love. I couldn't love art more than I do Bruce Timm's stuff. I came to collecting the higher end stuff later, so all that stuff has been bought on ebay through many attempts at trying to get stuff at a decent price.

The wall plaques were PARTICULARLY vexing.

Don't I know it, because even MORE vexing is when you've had EVERY SINGLE PIECE before and got rid of it.

By the end of the year I'll hopefully have all the maquettes down...

Hutchprime, that is an amazing display. I really wish I had gotten the BATMAN and SUPERMAN maquettes when they came out. The only thing that would complete that collection is the big poster of the orgin of SUPERMAN done by ROSS, it was rust colored and white, that was it. Its an amazing piece. Incredible collection sir, simply incredible.

They are Wall Plaques.

There was a series of them from the old WB store, which are the Batman/Robin/Catwoman/Mr. Freeze/Nightwing/Harley ones. That series was, from my understanding, cut short. I think Nightwing was the last one, and there were rumors that the actual production fell vastly short of the intended 2500 pieces.

The second series are the JLU ones by DC Direct that consist of the Original Seven. Those can be found for decent prices pretty readily on eBay.
