You know I'm all over the "Search for the Next Elvira"!! I've been keeping up to date on the open "casket" call and new behind the scenes photos through Elvira's site and myspace.
For anyone else interested, there will be three (1) hour shows on Fox Reality:
10/13, 9pm - Show #1 10/20, 9pm - Show #2 10/31, 9pm - Show #3 (Finale)
She is so awesome! Thank goodness she is not retiring, but rather looking for a double for some of the less lucrative appearances she gets asked to do throughout the year. The two guys (Patterson Lundquist and Christian Greenia a.k.a. Cassandra Fever) who are her current official doubles are the other judges for show, so I guess they can't win - haha!
I have an Elvira collection too, but no where near as big and I don't display any of it. I just take it out around Halloween and enjoy it.
I had the owner of my LCS get Elvira to sign a Femme Fatales magazine with her on the cover for me while he was at SDCC. I can't wait until he calls me to come by and pick it up!
