I've posted pictures here of the DC & comic character stuff in my living room before, but I finally finished the walls of my collection room (mostly STAR WARS), and so I've updated my site with fresh photos of my collection.

That's NEAT!

(I mean, literally, those MOC displays are extremely, neatly arranged, did you get a ruler out and give each row an exact amount of space between? Did you use one of those laser levels to line them up so precisely?

If collecting were a rock opera by The Who, you would be Tommy!

Absolutely amazing!

Thanks, guys.

That's exactly how I did it on the two walls that are full of STAR WARS figures, although the fact that it splits evenly between Episode I and Power Of The Jedi figures is more luck than planning. The wall with the doors was a little bowed, though, so I had to eye out placement of the STAR WARS and G.I. Joe figures there. There's a little more information here and here.

All I've really done with my collection room is add a lot of 25th Anniversary G.I. JOE figures, but I have a lot of work to do before I'm finished in there. I'm hoping to have a nice update for that by the end of the year.

I did, however, upload a big update with more photos from my living room over the weekend. I mounted a third bookcase to the wall (using drywall anchors and 2.5" corner braces like this one), began to install corner shelves against the side of that, added a hidden-bracket shelf above the couch, and converted a closet into a recessed bookcase. I cleaned out all the stuff that was being stored in there, removed the door, stashed it away, and attached LED lights to both sides of the interior. Now the hardcovers and TPBs stare you in the face when you first walk through the front door.

I'm going to add another shelf to the bookcase with the DCAU figures. As it stands, Fire, Ice, the Ray, and Blue Devil have nowhere to stand, and I still need to add Obsidian, Deadshot, Barda, and Scott Free to my collection. There's also the new stuff coming from Mattel, so it's time to make a little more room for the animated characters. Fortunately, though, they don't require as much space as the DC Direct figures, or I'd need a bigger house.

Another update over this past weekend, as I added a new area to the site for my NY GIANTS collection. I'll be adding photos to that section over time, but I have a ton of stuff to photograph and upload, most of which isn't displayed properly. For now, though, it's a start.
