All I've really done with my collection room is add a lot of 25th Anniversary G.I. JOE figures, but I have a lot of work to do before I'm finished in there. I'm hoping to have a nice update for that by the end of the year.
I did, however, upload a big update with more photos from my
living room over the weekend. I mounted a third bookcase to the wall (using drywall anchors and 2.5" corner braces like
this one), began to install corner shelves against the side of that, added a hidden-bracket shelf above the couch, and converted a closet into a recessed bookcase. I cleaned out all the stuff that was being stored in there, removed the door, stashed it away, and attached
LED lights to both sides of the interior. Now the hardcovers and TPBs stare you in the face when you first walk through the front door.
I'm going to add another shelf to the bookcase with the DCAU figures. As it stands, Fire, Ice, the Ray, and Blue Devil have nowhere to stand, and I still need to add Obsidian, Deadshot, Barda, and Scott Free to my collection. There's also the new stuff coming from Mattel, so it's time to make a little more room for the animated characters. Fortunately, though, they don't require as much space as the DC Direct figures, or I'd need a bigger house.
