Hey there!
Upon logging on to afi I was asked if I wanted to take part of a survey to help out afi. I thought "sure I'll fill it out. It's really cool their asking for feedback to better improve the already awesome website"
Well I agree to take it and the survey is really weird. The first thing I found odd was there was no questions pertaining to action figures or even this website (I admit I only went half way through as this started to get sketchy)
What's with all these questions about where I buy my groceries, health products and if I buy them online or offline? Then there is questions about what I look up up online to get information and does it influence my buying decision.
So what is up with this? To me it sounds like this website through that survey is collecting market information (totally unrelated to action figures and this website) and being sold.
Is this a new way afi is making revenue instead of putting up more ads? It's ok if you are as the survey is optional and nobody is forced to take it but it seems really weird and I must admit it caught me off guard.
