Hi there. I have a strong memory of having an action figure line from sometime during the mid to late-80s. They were a cowboy / indian line (or at least the specific figures I owned were, not sure if it was part of a wider theme), similar kind of size to the MASK action figures. The key characteristic was that they were made from good quality die cast metal, and their 'clothing' was a reflective gold colour (arms and faces were flesh coloured). They also had very good articulation. I'd be surprised if they were a generic line as they were very well produced.

Multiple Google searches don't come up with anything, but I know I'm not imaging them!
I wonder if anyone can help out?

Well after a bit more research, I got to the bottom of it: it's the Eagle Force series:

I was a bit off with emphasising the cowboy/indian theme; I just happened to be remembering the native American and cowboy characters in what is actually a G.I. Joe-style military task force theme.
