I'm on Verizon and I have no problems getting any of the pages to load or be usable in either 3G or WiFi on my iPhone 4.

I'll see if I have any issues loading the forum when I take my son to Gymboree in a hour. It loads up fine on my 3GS through my wifi and I'm on AT&T.

This the same error I received when I was out and about today. Hopefully a solution can be found.

As far as I know, the bad gateway errors are typically provider-related problems (not just on cell phones but also on DSL or cable connections).

Is there a support hotline you guys can call?

I do know that on my girlfriend's phone, she got the same error message that I did even though she has a Droid 4G. However, unlike mine, if we kept refreshing, hers would eventually get through to the forum.

Sadly, this got tedious as we'd have to refresh 3-5 times for every new page of each thread we attempted to open.

Still can't get past the front page on my Droid 3G, though.

I almost exclusively use my iPhone to access the site (I'm using it as I type this), and I've never had one issue ever. I'm on AT&T.

Optional solution:

Install a free app called Forum Runner (available for both iOS and Android).

Once installed - do a search for "action figure insider" and access the AFi forum from there.

Um, yeah. that Forum Runner app? It struggles to load too. I don't think it's the forum, I think the app is just buggy. still can't access the forums from my iphone if its on 3G.

Is it possible to have the site NOT ask me if I want to download that app every time I try to access it from a mobile device?

I get the same thing, since the site works fine on my iPhone, I just hit cancel each time. I don't know if its possible to have that option "cancel" itself, unless I download the app.

I got the same error message other people are seeing today. I've got an iPhone 4 on AT&T. Pretty annoying that I can't access the site and I'm not going to download an app just to do that.

I'm not to sure, but I think there's some confusion here? Seems most of aren't able to get the site to load when we're not on a wi-fi network. So if you are on a wi-fi network you aren't going to have an issue. When I'm at home it is through my Comcast network. It is only when I'm out and about that I can no longer access the site and isn't that AT&T's(or whatever the carrier's) network?. Something I haven't been able to figure out is why this forum was loading up just fine and now it isn't? Seeing as we all have different carriers I don't feel this is a network issue, but a forum one? I'm honestly not trying to be a ass, but this is the only forum I have an issue with on my phone. Like J1H, I'm not downloading a app to read the forum. I'll just continue to read it on my computer and delete the link on my phone.

I just ran a test and shut off my wi-fi. Out of the 4 sites I have in my bookmarks AFI is the only one that wouldn't load on my 3GS network. So I'm not sure what the problem is.
