I just got the 2007 Corgi catalog and they are rereleasing/repainting several of these 1:43 cars with 4" "spin cast metal" static figures (on a small base, kind of like the plastic army men). All of these are limited editions of 1500 pieces!
The figures are: 1930 Original Bob Kane/Bill Finger Batman with the 30's Batmobile (the car now has a gold grill and black side panels) 1950 Two-Face with two tone car (car is now two tone top to bottom instead of cut down the middle) 1960 Catwoman (with the red mask, boots and gloves) and Catmobile (car is now black 1960 Batman (This is a VERY Neil Adams looking Batman with his arms crossed)(Blue intstead of black) 1950 KILLER MOTH! (Yes Scott... the one you've always wanted!) with the Mothmobile.
I'm trying to get pictures from Corgi now.

So does this mean that the line is not completely dead for 2007? Or is it dead in the mass retail format we are used to seeing?
Sidenote, an area Wal*Mart just got in the 1930's Red Batmobile and Catmobile, bith of which I happily picked up! I hope they get the latest series, like the TT Batmobile, Mothmobile, Bat Rocket, etc. I've seen most of them at a comic shop and they looked great! Just too expensive, although if those are it for the line, I may splurge over time and pick them up just to be (somewhat) complete.

The Superfly wrote: That's a tough one; my local shop only gets in a few and sells out quick. I don't know of anyone that has them, maybe check the usual reputable online shops. Corgi-USA.com has them for sale. Comics Infinity has some as well. I know of one comic shop locally that gets them, but at $10.99 each, so I usually hope and wait for Wal*Mart to get them for that magical $6.44. If this line is coming to an end though (at least for the single packed vehicles -- and has this been confirmed?), I may start a slow splurging to get the ones I am missing, which include: - -Killer Mothmobile -- 2000 #3 Teen Titans Batmobile -- 2000 #4 Batmobile -- 1960 #3 Batmobile -- Batrocket ... and *maybe* one more. I'd still like the 1:18 1940s Batmobile Roadster before it's over as well. And the Batcycle and Robin Cycle only came in 1:12 scale, with the Batcycle in both blue and black color schemes.

My local Walmart had all of their remaining Corgi's on clearance for $5 apiece. I don't know if this is wide spread, but if so..take advantage.
Also my local Walgreen's has begun to carry the line as well. I spotted the Subway Rocket there of all places, even though I just got it for Christmas.

My local Walmart now has them clearanced for $3 a piece and there was literally a stack of over eighty boxes. Sort of glad I never started collecting these. They have been there for over a week so most of the HTF are gone but if you wanted 10 different cars in this series for $30 bucks you could easily do that. Just an FYI this was in N. GA Dalton.

So, did anyone else grab any of the last wave from Walgreens? I hit a ton of Walgreens searching for them and only came out with the 1990 Subway Rocket and the 2000 Teen Titans Batmobile. I may stop off at a few more Walgreens next week, but I think word got out and that ship has sailed in my area. Unfortunately, family issues (none bad) kept me from hitting some Walgreens from Day One. Now I am just missing the Killer Mothmobile, 1960 #3 Batmobile, and the 2000 #4 Batmobile to complete the collection of the single released vehicles, not including repaints (I think only the 1960s Batmobile was ever re-released singily as a repaint).
