Yeah, these are addicting. It's actually my favorite line out there right now. They aren't too terribly hard to find at retail if your patient. I'm NOT patient and I always pre-order the new sets from BigBad. I'm just not willing to wait for the little guys to hit retail.

For the most part, I don't have difficulties finding them at retail. (My wife and I have been getting the SW ones for years, and I don't think we've ever had a problem.) I've not had much luck with the most recent regular SHS wave....found most at my LCS, but have not seen Nightcrawler/Juggernaut at all. I've found the new Spidey wave twice now, but Mysterio was gone both times, but they just hit so I'm not really worried.

Here is a pic of what is out so far, I think (minus the Spider-Man/SM3 waves).

We just recently started getting the Sentinel and Galactus in the Tulsa area! I bought the first three waves at Target/Wal-Mart/K-Mart over a couple of days when I decided to buy them (few months ago). It was fun to be able to find all of them on the pegs pretty easily. Then I have ordered everything since from Big Bad Toy Store. They seem to get most of the SHS in sooner than I ever see them at retail. They also sell them at more or less the same price, and if you use their shipping function, you can wait until a bunch of stuff comes in and ship it in one lot to save some dough. You probably already know that, but I figured I'd offer a testimonial for BBTS. Also, I don't know if anyone has already discussed it, but the Beast that comes with the Apocalypse is kinda cool. Instead of the standard paint job it has a fuzzy felt-like finish. The duplicates of characters in this line gets a little old, but at least they have tried to make the repaints make some sort of sense or improvement (i.e., the second Thor has a better paint job).

That fuzzy Beast IS awesome. I like him way more than the darker blue original. Fuzzy Beast is easily in my top five SHS right now.

Wasn't there supposed to be a Sandman/Goblin figure with this Wave?

After all, if you look at the original wave listed on Wal-Mart computers... 26054 - Spider-Man / Mysterio 26055 - Spider-Man / Black Cat 26056 - Spider-Man / Puma 26057 - Sandman / Goblin The Spider-Man/Puma set became Venom/Puma. The comic Sandman figure has been moved into the next wave and is coming with a new Venom in Wave 5 which is coming out next. Check the attached link. So hopefully the comic Goblin will be released at some point. http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?cati ... emid=11082

Is it me, or does the Kraven figure look like he should be one of the Village People...

Anybody see the SHS ad in the latest issue of Lee's Toy Review? It has a bunch of sentinels squaring off against the X-Men, and the Cyclops is new one. It looks like he is the Astonishing X-Men version, and that they will have him in a two-pack with a Sentinel. I hadn't seen any news about that one anywhere. Did I miss it?
