Thanks Cas.
Bobby, yes sir, your gypsy was quite the inspiration. thanks
Thanks JM.
Elvis, when i do decoupage, i print with a laser printer. That way i dont have to worry about any ink smears when i'm sealing.
Self sticking label paper or Regular paper, not decal. If its regular paper, i paint the spot that i am fixing the logo on and place it when its wet. That way the paint sticks the paper to the figure. Then when dry, i seal it.
I've done this for all my figures, and figs i've done 5 years ago and counting have not lost a logo yet... Watch, when i get home, they will all mysteriously have fallen off!

WOW has it been 2 an a half months already? And i have been busy as heck with customs... Just nothing to show for it. Mostly casue of commissions and since i put some casts in my ebay store, thats keeping me really busy.
Here is something different... Commissioned for a few characters to fit the 25th Ani GI JOEs.
Solid Snake MGS1
Naked Snake MGS3
Solid Snake MGS4
In between, i have a couple figs in the works...
OK, from left to right. Everyone's favorite lantern, and before you ask, I CANT. I was sworn to secrecy as to where I got him and gave my word i would not reproduce these.
More to scale Amazo and Lastly Manunter Robot, I owed this one to Stew. I said i would make him when he made his, and never finished cause i was waiting on the right body parts.
let me know what you think.

Ok, first thanks for all the comments guys. I tried not to take too long to finish these.
These were casts of a bootleg JLU flash fig. (Thank You, You know who you are!)
"the Return" Amazo. The idea was Casimir's but i wanted to redo the the head. ( hey that's what i do) And i went for the Gold one just to be different.
The Manhunter's head was a custom sculpt as well.
GL is there for scale.

Wow, I never would have thought to do a G.I. Joe 25th scale Solid Snake. Should be a no-brainer...Anyways, these look absolutely awesome and fits in perfectly with the series. Great work on such a small scale!

Thanks for the comments guys.
OK, one more big guy then going back to 4th world.
JLU Mongul
He is made from Darkside. I built up the shoulders and waist. I stuffed some plastic pieces in the waist, so that he would stand taller( uneven pieces which is causing the lean didnt notice it till the apoxie sculpt cured). That and the shoulders, made him a good height. I also removed elbow and knee articulation.( just my preference)
I sacrificed leg movement for costume accuracy. Vinyl strips were used for cuffs and collar and the arm and thigh bands were printed on label paper.
The head is a cast of a sculpt i made. I was asked back in May if i was ever gonna make him, and he kept getting back burnnered, till now.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks Dusty. Yep that's Casimir's hatter waiting for paint.
Ok Fellas, I have been wanting to make this for years, but i never had the head cast to do it. When i sculpted my version i had thoughts of carding him but everytime i made one to card, i sold him. Since i promised i wouldnt sell this fig, I finally made the card for it.
Holiday Hal Jordan Replica
Here is the back
It took me a lot of painstaking work to match the details of this card, but i left a few things "wrong" so that this wouldnt be mistaken for a real one if i decide to sell the cards.
The most noticeable is the text on the back.
I also made the "Trading Card" that came with the original fig. Since i never saw one or pics of one, i used license on the back.
Here is mine verses a mattel one.
Since i used to make cards for all my starwars figs, i print the front of the card directly to thick cardstock. So the finish is just like a Mattel card.
The blister is attached with double-sided tape. Speaking of.. I NEED AMAZO BLISTERS! The one from the blue card singles with the trading card slot. I had to use starman for this one but if i get my hands on an amazo, i'll redo it.
Bigger
Here is something fun, can you guess all the details that are "wrong" with the card?
