I thought the MF was ugly when I first saw it and then I just loved it, a clunker that has some OOMPH to it. I do enjoy the CLONE WARS so I was really hoping to hear that the next ship/playset would be the TWILIGHT, alas, it is not to be...for now. So, I made my own. I came across pics of a TOS BSG shuttle that a guy made from cardboard and painter's tape and figured hey, why not give it a go. so I made something of what I will call the hull of a TOS BSG shuttle. As with all things when one has a family, I get sidetracked, but after some doodling and running out some sketches, I decided to conver by TOS BSG shuttle to a CLONE WARS TWILIGHT spice freighter. She is about 3 foot long, and the wingspan about 28 inches. Im still working on making the interior and adding greeblies, but the fun part is I found some parts for my rubbermaid shelves and have made impromptu sturdy landing gear as well as a possible way to actually hold and fly this leviathan. It seems to fit close to the scale of the ANIMATED CW figures, but most of all, its clunky and it will have a cool spot in my collection. While I await the CW Y wing, Ill definately have fun with this boxy beastie. The cockpit still needs some detail, but the aft cargo section is almost done. Ill put pics up by this evening.
