Has anyone heard when the JSA will return? I hope its soon. Im anxious to see them in action again. Hope to see Al Pratt (Atom), Sylvester Pemberton (StarSpangled Kid) Huntress and Robin. Hope to see the entire team back on Earth 2 and young again.

Unless something has changed this week that I missed, there's no release date YET. We do have a creative team, but the book can't come out soon enough. This was one of my BIGGEST issues with the "New Coke sorry 52" and until the book is OUT and on stands I won't consider it corrected.

It's coming out today guys. I can't wait to download it.

you do all realize that when the new JSA book comes out, its coming out on an "alternate Earth" as a more traditional "Elseworlds" story and won't actually be part of the "New 52" right?

Yes we do realize that and personally I don't care because I want to see those characters.

I dont care either way but how do we know that its more elseworld? I was under the understanding that it was going to be part of the 52. That they were trying to put them back on Earth 2 and start them sometime around the end of WW2.

I can't speak for anyone else, but of course I realize it's going to be more of an Elseworlds tale than part of the New Coke 52. Why do you think many of us are so excited? The JSA / All Star Squadron has always been one of my favorite books, and the less it has to do with the new MorrisonLee-verse the better. I'm honestly hoping they throw the doors open and bring in EVERYBODY.

The more I hear about Earth 2 from DC, the more I think it's going to suck.

apparently E2 will be a New DCU within the DCnU and will be a much bigger universe than we will initially see within both JSA and World's Finest.

The DC Blog is releasing some character designs and backstory hints over the next few days starting with, you guessed it, Batman.

I actually, kinda-sorta like the new DCnU E2 costume for Batman and am, slightly, intrigued by the few hints we've been given.

Not enough to make me camp out, or jump up and down, or even participate in any sort of debate, but I'm not groaning in agony at this point either.....

I was hoping Earth 2 was going to be a golden age throwback type of universe that heavily featured the JSA but with a Batman who kills, it sounds like it's the exact opposite.

This was my hope as well...a book for all the old JSA fans that kept the legacy aspects of the DCU intact. I'm still going to give it a try, but...

I'm going to give it a try as well. I'm just not too enthusiastic about it now.

outside of the knee pads, I like it.

It is a nice mix of a few of the other Robin iterations, paying a nice amount of homage and recognizability, yet it still feels like this is its own costume.

I'm still not as optimistic, but I'll definitely give it a chance. The designs for Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman they've shown so far are actually okay. Heck, I like this version of Wonder Woman better than the new Coke version lol...

where did you guys see the costume designs? i cant find them?
