Wonder Woman started really interesting but this thing with Hades has been dragging it's feet some. I hope it picks up again!

I've been enjoting reading the Warlord Or Mars titles and Planet of the Apes. I suggest trying those out.
A year ago, the majority of the titles I bought were DC, but since the new 52, I get more independant titles now.

Anyone actually reading the new DCU needing any of the books-- decided to dump most of what I picked up since its just not the characters I have been reading since I started- 1/2 coverprice or less (not complete runs usually)- I can get a total list if interested- like to dump all at once- but
Batgirl Catwoman Nightwing Huntress (complete mini series) Batman Batman & Robin Teen Titans Dark Knight Detective Comics Batwoman Plus asst- Blue Beetle, Superboy, and a couple other random others..
Also Batman Inc. from the previous Uni..

I still read Swamp Thing and Animal Man
I read Batman, Wonder Woman and a few others because I'm a fan boy...
But aside from the two listed above... I don't like the New 52 at all...

I gotta say, since we were packing things up and moving and I don't currently have internet unless I'm at work, I decided to give up all the new comics I was buying and see what happened. Turns out I don't really care that I'm missing them. Going back and reading older comics that I know are worth buying has been much more enjoyable than getting something new that turns out to be crap.

Justice League is starting to be a bit shaky as is Nightwing. In a few months, I might be down to Aquaman and Batgirl only.

Yes, the current arc started a bit slowly, but the last couple issues have been very good.
And the art . . . is probably the best Arthur's had since Alex Ross in Justice. They are doing stellar work.
I just hope that this creative team stays together for a long, long time.

You all are making me look bad. I'm still going strong with these: Detective Comics, Green Arrow, Justice League International, Batgirl, Batman and Robin, Green Lantern, Batman, Birds of Prey, Green Lantern Corps, Nightwing, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Flash, Green Lantern: New Guardians, Superman, Batman: Incorporated, Earth 2, and World's Finest Of course I wasn't too familiar with the old DC Universe, so I couldn't get upset when they changed it.

I jumped on a lot of the new titles as well but it was the first time I've ever bought comics on a weekly basis like that. I had mostly been playing catch up on old issues where the story was already complete and I knew if it was worth reading or not. After a year or so of weekly comics, I found it pretty unsatisfying for the most part.

I hadn't read comics since 2002, but recently started back with the DC new 52 thanks in part to the Young Justice cartoon.
I am currently reading: Justice League Young Justice Teen Titans Ravagers Aquaman Green Lantern Earth 2
And my wife is reading: Wonder Woman World's Finest Justice League Batgirl Teen Titans Aquaman Earth 2

I'm reading Aquaman and Green lantern. They're very good. Geoff Johns is cruising on those.
I'm reading Batman. Snyder and Capullo are doing solid work. It doesn't blow me away but it's very good. "Let's try to brake the Bat" storyline seems to be done before. I like the creepy secretiveness of the Owls but I got really annoyed by their indestructibility after awhile and I'm not quite sure about the idea of Talon.
I read all the other Lantern books but they're not super great. I don't care for John Stewart 's current murder storyline. I hate the Alpha Lanterns, I'm so sick of those fascist morons, I hope they get blown to bits. I really want to see a universe without the Guardians. They're idiots. Kyle Rayner's book is fun, light reading but not really captivating. Red Lanterns is finally getting good after about 10 issues. I really wanted that book to be amazing.
Admit it, Justice League and Earth 2 have been a snoozefest. The art's pretty good though.
Suicide Squad is awful but strangely engaging like you can't look away from a car accident.
Red Hood and The Outlaws is way, way, way, way underrated. A good comic book.
Action Comics is odd, disjointed but smart and interesting at the same time. But Superman is odd, disjointed and not very good.
Animal Man is super cool! I had to drop Frankenstein though after a few issues. I liked it, but i felt like it wasn't taking itself seriously. A little too silly.
Earghh, Batman and Robin has been beyond awful for the last few issues. Damian used to be been fun but he's just being a little jerk and Bruce isn't written well in that comic for some reason. Batman INC. Is good times, though. Grant Morrison doing his thing.
All-Star Western is a Grade A comic and it's ridiculous that more people don't read it. I feel the same way about Demon Knights.
I still haven't read JL Dark, Supergirl, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman and Catwoman and Leifeld's books but I'm trying to get that.

I think that Johns is doing a fantastic job on both, especially with the current Aquaman storyline. Really like Jason Todd and Starfire from Red Hood and the Outlaws, but not so much when it comes to Roy Harper. Couldn't agree with you more about Damian from the Batman books. He has worn out his welcome. Justice League Dark and Supergirl are great reads and Wonder Woman is starting to get much better.

I've been able to avoid diving back in now that I have some internet access again. The weekly format just isn't for me. I much prefer being able to read an entire story in one sit down.
